Catalytic hydrogenation reaction
Palladium on carbon is a commonly used hydrogenation catalyst in organic synthesis and is used in many types of catalytic hydrogenation reactions, including:
- Saturation hydrogenation of alkenes and alkynes
- Hydrogenation reduction of aromatic compounds and heterocyclic compounds
