(2) If the exhalation valve on the gas mask is broken, you should use your fingers to block the hole of the exhalation valve, release your hand when you exhale, and block it with your hand when you inhale. The above method will seriously threaten your health and life safety. It is recommended to leave the work area in time and replace the equipment in a safe area;
(3) If the hood on the gas mask is severely damaged, you can consider putting the gas filter canister directly in your mouth, then pinch your nose and breathe through the gas filter canister. At the same time, you must evacuate the scene as soon as possible;
(4) If there is a small hole on the gas filter canister on the gas mask, you can use your hand or other materials to block it. And evacuate in time;
(5) If the gas mask is damaged, aged, leaking, or the exhalation valve is broken, then it can no longer be used. When using a gas mask, if you feel that breathing is difficult, feel very uncomfortable, and can smell the odor of poison, you should retreat immediately. The gas mask cannot be removed when in the poisonous area. Strictly speaking, if the breathing resistance becomes larger, or if you smell an odor when wearing it correctly, you need to evacuate the work area in time and replace the equipment;
